The heavy duty planer can be used for machining flat and 'V' shaped guide-ways. T-Slots as well as horizontal, vertical and inclined surfaces. Bed will be made out of alloy grey iron castings having proper strength and long bearing qualities. It will be of enough deep Box Section, braced by adequate number of double walled ribs, which extend to floor level. The Bed will be of double walled system in gear portion.

Main Features :

Bed is heavy and rigid in construction.
The Bed ways have an ample bearing surface.
Automatic Lubrication system has been provided.
Table will be of Box Section with hand scrapped V Ways to bear heavy load. Adequate T-Slots have been provided to clamp the work-piece securely.
To avoid friction, quick return mechanism has been provided.
To ensure smooth and silent running all Gears are precision cut.
The columns are specially designed of Rigid Box Section with Ribs to absorb heavier possible shocks.
Special requisition material has been used to increase durability.
Scrapping & Lapping are followed to obtain more precision work and accuracy.
Tool holder is so designed that the tool can be set at any angle and it is free while on return journey of the table.
Inter-changeability of the parts is provided for stand standardisation.
